For the second time, KPMG Private Enterprise will be crowning a Global Tech Innovator. The most exciting, early-stage tech innovators will compete in local African competitions. African winners will then be selected to participate in a global final at the Web Summit conference in Lisbon, Portugal in November.

- 31 May 2022 – Applications close
- Between 18 July to 29 July – Semi-finals in Eastern, Southern, and Western Africa
- 18 August 2022 – Africa final
- November 2022 – Global Final
