More than 20 people were reported dead at today 2.30am when a bus and two were involved in fatal collisions.
The accident which occurred at Mbaruk area near Gilgil on the Nakuru-Nairobi highway claimed several scores of injured passengers. Witnesses said that the bus was trying to overtake the trailer before a head on collision.
The injured were taken to St Mary’s hospital, Nairobi. The bus was headed for Busia from Nairobi city.
