Singer Avril has shocked Kenyans when she revealed to a local magazine that she painfully drove herself to delivery the moment labour pains kicked off.
Avril while speaking to Parents Magazine, narrated how she eventually was able to conceive after trying it for years.
“When I found out I was pregnant I had mixed feelings. It was something I had wanted for so long so I was happy. However, I also wondered, ‘what do I do next?’ By my second month, I was done with baby shopping and when my water broke, I drove myself to hospital,” Avril told Parents Magazine.
Interestingly, Avril gave birth in April 2018 to her baby boy but decided to wrap the news under the carpet to keep her kid out of publicity.
“I’ve been approached for endorsement deals and I’ve had to turn them all down. Mind you, it’s a lot of money. However, if I’m signing a contract, I’m signing as Avril not as Avril and M, unless the corporate is comfortable with my son’s identity remaining anonymous,” said Avril
Avril who decided to keep the baby daddy and name of the little angel out of public, says that she went through a big trauma in 2014 when she publicly broke up with her then boyfriend Leslie Mugadza.
Avril’s new born is heavily linked to her alleged boyfriend J Blessing- a long seasoned music producer
