TikTok star Azziad has finally cleared a long-standing debt owed to influencer Madollar Mapesa, ending a saga that captured public attention for months. The dispute began after claims emerged that Azziad owed multiple debts, with Madollar repeatedly calling her out online and leaking audio recordings to pressure repayment.
According to Madollar, he had initially lent Azziad KSh 1.9 million, which she failed to repay on time. Per their agreement, she owed a total of KSh 3.6 million. After making partial payments totaling KSh 2.5 million, Azziad hesitated on the remaining balance, prompting Madollar to expose the situation online. On September 4, she personally called Madollar’s assistant and settled the final KSh 500,000, officially clearing the debt. Madollar confirmed the repayment on Instagram, writing, “It is a very strange morning. Azziad called my P.A to go and pick up the cash… She has managed her balance of KSh 500,000.”
Following the repayment, Madollar leaked private WhatsApp chats between him and Azziad. In the messages, she confirmed settling the debt and requested that all related posts be deleted: “Morning Madollar, tumemalizana, now delete every single picture you ever posted about the situation… I now owe you nothing, anything you post from now will be defamation,” she wrote.
The conversation included playful exchanges, with Madollar teasing Azziad about the exposure she gained using his money and joking about her taking another loan to travel the world. He also hinted at a potential romantic connection, mentioning a dinner date and promising to gift her something worth KSh 2 million. Azziad responded lightheartedly, leaving the possibility open with, “We’ll see about that.”
The resolution has left netizens divided, with some applauding Azziad for finally taking responsibility, while others focused on the humorous and flirtatious nature of the leaked chats. The incident highlights the intersection of social media influence, financial disputes, and personal dynamics among Kenya’s content creators.
With the debt fully cleared, Azziad and Madollar appear to be on friendly terms, closing a chapter that had dominated entertainment news and sparked wide discussion online.
