Popular Kenyan content creator Baba Talisha has officially joined the growing list of digital influencers making money on Meta platforms — and his results are already turning heads. Known for his humorous and relatable skits on TikTok, the father of two has now shifted his attention to Facebook, and the move is already proving lucrative.
After his Facebook account was approved for monetisation, Baba Talisha took to social media to share how much he had earned in just three days — and the numbers were impressive. He revealed that he made $120.59 (approximately KSh 15,650) in less than 72 hours through content he posted on the platform.
According to a snapshot from his professional dashboard, photos brought in the highest revenue at $58.29 (KSh 7,570), followed by stories at $30.99 (KSh 4,030), while other content formats earned him $31.36 (KSh 4,080). Each content category had grown by 100% in the previous 28 days — a clear sign that his monetisation journey is gaining momentum.
Baba Talisha encouraged fans to apply for monetisation, noting that the process involved submitting an application after receiving an invitation from Meta. He wrote, “For the last three days, since I was monetised. Apply for monetisation and wait approval.”
His announcement comes amid a wave of Kenyan digital creatives cashing in on Facebook’s monetisation features, which include ads, bonuses, and engagement rewards. The rapid earnings show that creators with a loyal following and quality content can unlock real income through the platform.
Fans flooded his comment section with praise and curiosity. Some celebrated his early success, while others asked how they too could begin earning through their pages.
One fan said, “Better than sitting the whole night on TikTok begging,” while another added, “How is it applied? Help me with my 12k followers. Anyway, let me wait, maybe one day itajipa.” Another user encouraged others, saying, “Check if you’re invited then you submit your application.”
Aside from his online hustle, Baba Talisha has been in the spotlight for his personal life as well. After losing his first wife, he later met his current partner, Miss Wanjey, with whom he recently welcomed a child. Though she has chosen to remain anonymous, Miss Wanjey confirmed that Baba Talisha is not hiding her — she simply prefers privacy.
As content creators across Kenya continue to explore new income streams on social media, Baba Talisha’s quick success on Facebook stands as a strong example of what’s possible when entertainment meets opportunity.
