MP elect Babu Owino, Mohammed Jicho Pevu and Jaguar were skipped on during the ceremony which was held on 31st August 2017 on the 1st session of the 12th Parliament in Kenya.
This is because, the persons with disabilities came first followed by other long serving legislators who are deemed as their seniors.
Thus, with other newly welcomed Mps were sworn in via the last batch which again followed the protocol accordingly.
