A student who has been against the long regime of Babu Owino at University of Nairobi was beaten up by his rag-tag goons who almost went away with the life of the unfortunate student. The SONU leader, a council of students, has been mobilizing students to register as voters in mass at Embakasi North where he has declared his interest to vie as an area MP.
The victim is known to have been swaying the voter on the opposite side, he was beaten up on last Friday night as he was heading to his hostel room. He was rescued by Good Samaritans and taken to the nearest health facility.
Other students affiliated to the victim have vowed to ensure that justice is served to the victim.
This happens barely few months ago when goons alleged to his movement killed one of the students at the higher institution of education.
This followed up a big public outcry on how the student leader has taken laws in his hands and managed to form an internal rag-tag group that frustrates and harasses fellow students at his own peril.
Following his dictatorial skills related to Museveni and Mugabe, opposition students have vowed to retaliate with laws and bring down his unlawful leadership and the institution.
It is rather astonishing that the university officials have developed a cold feet on the complains from the oppressed students and seems to be doing very little to ensure that a student doesn’t look superior than the other and all students are given equal rights that they are entitled to by the Ministry of Education
