Celebrity couple Bahati and Diana Marua are facing a disagreement over expanding their family, with Bahati eager for more children while Diana is firmly against the idea.
During a candid conversation on their YouTube channel, Bahati expressed his desire to have more kids, a statement that Diana swiftly rejected.
“I still want more babies, I am planning about it,” Bahati said, hoping for his wife’s support. However, Diana was quick to remind him that she would be the one carrying the pregnancy, something she was not ready for.
“At the end of the day, I am the one who is carrying the baby, and so I am not planning to have another baby. You want to have other babies, who is going to carry? Are you the one who is going to carry the babies?” she asked.
Bahati, appearing surprised, questioned why she was unwilling to bear another child. “Tumbo ni kitu ya kunyimana?” he asked, implying that it should be a mutual decision.
Diana did not hold back, vividly describing the challenges of pregnancy. “For nine months, nikuwe hapa na morning sickness na wewe uko huko nje unahave fun? Uko huko unajienjoy, ati nikose kukula kitu nataka juu ya morning sickness? Nikuwe natapika huku?” she exclaimed, making it clear she was not willing to go through another pregnancy.
The couple currently has five children. Diana is the biological mother of Heaven, Majesty, and Malaika, while Mueni and Morgan are Bahati’s children from previous relationships.
Netizens reacted to the exchange with humor, with some suggesting alternative options like surrogacy. One commenter joked, “Atafute surrogate sasa. She has had enough.” Another added, “The other day nitamzalia hadi watu wao washangae, leo nani atabeba?”
In a separate discussion, Bahati also revealed that he gives Diana a monthly allowance of KSh 1 million, yet she still asks for more, citing expenses for makeup, wigs, and clothes.
While the couple continues to share their family life online, it remains to be seen whether Bahati will convince Diana to change her mind about having more children.
