On July 20th in 2021, popular BBC journalist Ferdinand Omondi proposed to his long time girlfriend Caroline Njeri Ng’ang’a in a unique and special way.
Omondi who works as special BBC correspondent in Nairobi took to social media to announce that Njeri had said ‘Yes’ to his advances.
Njeri could not also hide her joy on social media and shared the same love moments with former KTN journalist Omondi.
Njeri is among the shortlisted candidates being interviewed to take over as the commissioners of IEBC after 3 of the commissioners resign.
She brags of having 12 years experience in finance, accounting, consultancy. Besides, she is also doing her masters in applied philosophy and ethics at Strathmore University.
Njeri has worked as head of internal audit for the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops, a board of trustee member for the Kenya Tourism Fund and a board member at Ecotourism Kenya.
She also runs her social enterprise that sells creative handmade crafts such as decorative pieces, jewellery, bags and attire.
