Maina Kageni has announced that Independent, Electoral And Boundaries Commission, IEBC, has cleared him to vie for Nairobo Women Rep seat, an action that has driven internet to dizziness.
Maina Kageni, who hosts Morning Show on Classic 105 every morning said in a well recorded video that he was cleared to run for the seat ‘reserved’ for women.
Kenyans should blame the law which did not specifically state the kind of the gender that can qualify to vie for the seat that is supposed to defend and advocate for women rights, making it eligible for even men to run on it.
