Malaika Mkubwa can be loosely translated into Big Angel from East Africa’s Swahili language.

Martina Big was baptized by a pastor in Nyeri county who proclaimed her new name before setting her into her new life.

Martina set her tour to Africa from Europe, and landed in Kenya as her first country of choice in Africa among other African nations.

Malaika Mkubwa, her new name, has received alot of accolades from across the racial groups. With the whites lauding her on the virtue of self esteem while the blacks specifically those in Africa welcoming her into the land of Africa.

About 20 years ago, Micheal Jackson, a black American pop singer, received the opposite of what we are reading from Martina Big debate.

Instead he was rebuked and lashed in the same measure from both Africans and the Western world

After the adoption, she went ahead to visit other more tour sites in Kenya, including the Maasai tribe which also welcomed her .
