Even when his very public and nasty breakup with his wifey, Yvette Nungiri, hit social media with a murderous thud. Tweeps talked about it for days before they moved on to the next trending hashtag. It did not help that DNG fuelled the split rumours by subtweeting his estranged wife.
Before the ugliness reared its head, DNG and Yvette were the go to celebrity couple. They fit the part of a whirlwind, fairytale romance that made every chic want to be Yvette and every dude want to take DNG’s place.
In April 2014, DNG announced to interweb citizens that he was in a relationship and posted a smoking hot intimate photo of what looks like a couple cuddling in bed. The message on the photo read,
“I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love. I vow to love you and no matter what challenges might carry us apart, we will always find a way back to each other.”
After this public declaration of love, DNG and Yvette got engaged three months later, in July 2014. They went ahead an tied the knot in March last year and based on online reports, the two have called it quits on their marriage a few days shy of their first wedding anniversary.
Away from the rumoured split, DNG has been linked to various women ever since news of the impending annulment or divorce hit the internet.
