Working closely with Fund Accounting Supervisor, the Interns will facilitate the analysis and management of cash flow.
The interns will be taken through a rigorous on-the-job training with a possibility of being retained on permanent basis for those with exemplary performance
Key Areas for Learning
- Assist in daily, timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts
- Ensure instructions are properly executed by custodian in a timely manner
- Ensure timely delivery of instructions
- Weekly and timely transfers of Fees to accounts
- Ensure bank charges are refunded to the various accounts and that enough float is maintained
- Monthly and timely transfers of withdrawal and Switch Fees
Required Skills and Experience
- A recent graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field;
- Pursuing professional qualification in accounting (CPA, ACCA, etc.);
- Minimum of B+ in KCSE
- Knowledge of investments and financial markets;
- Advance knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
