This statue is not a disgrace to the black, but on the contrary, to the White people. White people who value humanity, should campaign for it removal,or let it stay as evidence to hypocrisy.

interpret it in a different way? Since we're talking about Ghana(Black Country), the devil is inside Ghanaians (Black Colour)& hence since forever we stereotype angels in white because white stands for peace & purity therefore the white angel killing the devil inside you(black)

Unfortunate that's what the catholic religion stands for,the black priests in Ghana see nothing wrong with the statue bcoz they have accepted their black colour is associated with evil. It's time we start questioning the religion itself
