Former Churchill Show comedian Consumator has bravely shared the emotional and physical toll his battle with Tuberculosis (TB) took on him. The comedian, whose real name is not widely known, revealed that he was diagnosed with TB in 2023, a disease that severely impacted his health, leading to significant weight loss. Unfortunately, his condition also attracted online trolls who mocked his appearance.

A Two-Year Struggle with TB

Consumator’s battle with TB lasted for nearly two years. He recounted how his condition worsened, beginning with an initial diagnosis in 2023. “I shared a microphone as an MC,” he said, reflecting on how the disease might have been contracted. Despite starting treatment, his health took a downturn, causing him to relapse by mid-2024. “That was like two years wasted,” Consumator admitted, expressing the frustration he felt due to his extended struggle.

During this period, he found himself losing weight drastically, which became a source of ridicule online. “There was someone who said I have HIV,” Consumator recalled, pointing to the hurtful and unfounded assumptions people made about him. He added that he felt ashamed of his appearance and was reluctant to leave his house due to the negative comments.

Online Trolls and Personal Struggles

The comedian shared the emotional pain caused by the trolling. After reading the mocking comments, he said he felt deeply self-conscious and stopped posting content. “People were saying I was not eating. I was feeling sorry for myself,” he revealed. The public’s harsh reactions to his appearance left him feeling isolated, leading to a period of retreat from the public eye.

To make matters worse, Consumator was forced to live with a friend for a year. His friend, who was living in a small bedsitter, offered him shelter during this difficult time. “I wasn’t paying for anything, rent or food,” he said, reflecting on the financial struggles he faced as his health deteriorated.

Appeal for Help and Hope for the Future

Despite the pain and setbacks, Consumator has found the courage to share his story and appeal for support. In 2022, he faced another hardship when his father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, forcing him to sell everything he had. At one point, he walked from his church in Karen to Zimmerman, showcasing the extent of his struggles. Despite these challenges, he continues to work on his dreams, including a planned YouTube show. “I am planning on working on a YouTube show and would love any help I can get,” he stated, opening up to his fans about his ambitions.

Consumator’s story is one of resilience in the face of both personal and public challenges. Despite the online cruelty he faced, he continues to press forward, using his platform to raise awareness about TB and the mental health effects of public scrutiny. His honesty in sharing his story has inspired many of his fans, who have rallied to offer their support.

His journey is a reminder of the importance of compassion in the face of health struggles and the impact of online comments on people’s mental well-being. As Consumator works on his recovery and future projects, his fans continue to send him messages of encouragement, proving that even in the darkest times, there is hope and a community ready to lend a helping hand.
