Popular content creator Mungai Eve recently shared insights into her past relationship with Director Trevor, revealing that he controlled her social media activity. Speaking in an interview with Lydia Wanjiku, Mungai explained that Trevor managed her Instagram account and decided who she could follow.
Trevor Limited Her Followers
Mungai disclosed that Trevor often unfollowed people on her behalf and set a strict limit on the number of accounts she could follow. She said this behavior impacted her ability to connect with fans.
“You guys were being unfollowed? It wasn’t me,” Mungai clarified in response to complaints from fans. “I already knew my relationship would end. Trevor told me not to follow more than 200 people and would ask why I was following certain accounts. He said some people weren’t ‘worth the follow.’”
Trevor Defends His Actions
In a separate interview, Trevor explained his reasons for managing Mungai’s Instagram activity. He claimed it was about maintaining a professional and appealing online image.
“You need to follow fewer people to keep your page looking clean and professional. It wasn’t about forcing her; it was about protecting her brand,” Trevor said.
Trevor also opened up about their financial challenges. He revealed that they nearly went broke while building a house for Mungai’s parents. He believed the project would enhance her brand, but the effort strained their finances, with all their earnings going into the construction.
Despite the challenges, both Mungai and Trevor seem to be moving forward, focusing on their individual careers.
