Premier League top team Crystal Palace are set to boost their goalkeeping task-force with the arrival of Arnold Origi.

The Harambee Stars keeper is said to be on trials in England for three days immediately the window opened for the January shopping.

Origi , 34 years, who plays for Norwegian FA Cup winners Lillestrom will captain current Wayne Hennessy at the Palace since his vice is old and would consider moving out or retiring.

Reports from hiscurrent club are also positive.

“Arnold is not training with us because he has requested permission to work out with a club in England. He is there for an indefinite period.” Lillestrom sporting director Simon Mesfin said

Club coach Arne Erlandsen added,

“I think Arnold has played his last game for us. We wish him luck with his career. “I hope he finds a club where he gets what he wants.”

Arnold who is cousin to Divock Origi from Liverpool, became a star after Lillestrom’s 3-2 cup final win over Sarpsborg over the past month

Origi has played for Tusker FC, Ullensaker/Kisa and Moss FK and Fredrikstad.

Crystal Palace are currently 14th placed in the EPL which is at its halfway season.
