Driftwood 7s winners, Kenya Harlequins have been seeded top for this weekend’s Dala 7s set for Mamboleo Showground in Kisumu.
Quins have a repeat of their impressive performances a week ago as their primary target in the fourth round of the Kenya Sevens Circuit Series.
The 2010 Kenya and Enterprise cup winners have been grouped in a tricky Pool A alongside Blak Blad, reigning Dala champions Top Fry Nakuru and Comras.
Series leaders; Menengai Cream Homeboyz top Pool B alongside Kisumu, Menengai Oilers and Mwamba RFC.
Kabeberi 7s semi-finalists Strathmore Leos will battle out with Resolution Impala Saracens, Mean Machine and Nondescripts in Pool C.
Pool D is comprised of the Kabeberi Plate winners Kabras Sugar RFC, KCB, Makueni and the Western Bulls.
Dala 7’s Organizing Committee chairman, Jack Kisero has urged supporters to come out in large numbers.
“Kenya 7s captain Andrew Amonde, coach Benjamin Ayimba, Collins Injera, Humphrey Kayange are among those whose talent was nurtured in the region,” he told Citizen Digital during the launch in Nairobi.
