Rapper and content creator Diana Marua recently treated her children to a rare experience — their first ever walk to a local shopping center. In a heartwarming and humorous turn of events, the family outing quickly transformed from excitement to exhaustion, ending in a memorable first boda boda ride for her youngest daughter, Malaika Bahati.

Diana, who is known for her luxurious lifestyle and devotion to her family, admitted that her children — Mueni, Majesty, Heaven, and Malaika — have never really walked anywhere, as they are always chauffeured around. “They have never walked a day in their life,” she confessed in a video shared on April 14.

Determined to give them a taste of everyday life and a bit of adventure, Diana decided to ditch the car and head to a nearby trading center on foot. Initially, the kids were thrilled, with Mueni and Majesty even teasing their mum for walking too slowly. “Guess what, guys? My kids have never been on a long walk before — not even around the neighborhood,” Diana wrote, clearly amused by the novelty of the experience.

The fun, however, didn’t last long. Not far into their journey, the little ones were spotted sitting on the ground, visibly exhausted. “They were super excited at first, but let’s just say, things took a turn real quick,” Diana said, laughing off the situation.

While at the shopping center, the family visited familiar spots including their favorite chicken vendor. But when it came time to head back, the kids were too tired to walk. That’s when Diana decided to hail boda bodas for the ride home.

For Malaika, the family’s lastborn, it turned out to be a special moment — her very first motorbike ride. A video captured the toddler sandwiched safely between her mother and the boda rider, smiling gleefully as the wind rushed past. Her siblings, Heaven and Majesty, rode on another bike.

“First time I put Malaika on a motorbike and she loves the bumps and the breeze. We got home and she was like ‘mummy again’,” Diana shared, clearly touched by the little one’s joy.

Fans flooded Diana’s comment section with praise and admiration for giving her children a down-to-earth experience. Many applauded her effort to show them a different side of life, even if just for a short walk and a thrilling motorbike ride.

In another touching moment, Diana was also seen bonding with her husband Bahati’s ex, Yvette Obura, during Heaven’s birthday celebration. The two women shared a light moment and a hug, showing that maturity and blended family love are very much possible.

From the excitement of a simple walk to the thrill of a first-time boda boda ride, Diana Marua reminded everyone that it’s the little things — and sometimes the unexpected ones — that make the best memories.
