Celebrated comedian DJ Shiti has opened up about the darkest period in his life and how fellow creatives Bien-Aime Baraza and Eddie Butita played a crucial role in helping him bounce back. In an emotional interview with TUKO.co.ke, Shiti shared how he faced immense personal and financial struggles before regaining his footing—thanks to genuine support from trusted friends in the entertainment industry.
“There was a time I had hit the end,” he confessed. “I was down badly. But these people held my hand without mocking me or seeking clout.”
Shiti credited singer Bien and comedian-turned-producer Butita for stepping in when he needed it most. The comedian, known for his energy and comic timing, said their quiet support helped him rebuild his confidence and career behind the scenes—without any cameras rolling.
He urged fellow celebrities to take a more empathetic and collaborative approach, rather than chasing likes and viral moments. “There is an artist out there silently struggling. Be the person who helps them, not for a post or trend, but from the heart. Life is about lifting each other,” he emphasized.
Shiti also spoke about his recent role in Bien’s new music video, All My Enemies are Suffering, where he made a surprise appearance as a video vixen—an unexpected move that has fans talking.
“The idea just came naturally,” he said. “Bien told me, ‘Shiti, you’re special. Let’s create something real.’ We laughed, told a small story, and boom—the collaboration was born. This isn’t just work; it’s brotherhood.”
With renewed momentum, Shiti hinted at more exciting content in the pipeline. “Before the end of this year, fans will be asking where I’ve been all this time. We’re working on fire content, emotional stories, and unmissable shows. One of our upcoming projects will touch people deeply,” he teased.
Beyond his career revival, DJ Shiti also shared a lighter moment from a recent event in Eldoret, where he gave relationship advice to fellow comedian Mulamwah. Clad in traditional Legio Maria attire, Shiti was seen engaging Mulamwah in a heart-to-heart, urging him to consider reconnecting with his ex. The pair were joined by other content creators including Nicky Bigfish, adding a dose of humor and culture to the gathering.
Shiti’s message remains clear—support, humility, and loyalty are what truly matter in the ever-demanding world of showbiz. His story is not only a reflection of personal resilience, but also a reminder that behind every successful artist is a village of quiet warriors.
