After today’s landmark ruling Wafula Chebukati gave out his reason why the election was thrown out of the window.

Looking so much disorganized, he gave out a presser which gave out two main points as to why the election did not go right.

  1. He stated that the commissioners had just worked for 7 months which was not good enough for them to get well prepared
  2. He also stated that they will remove some of the people who conducted the just nullified elections

Here are some of the tweet reactions from Chebukati

Chebukati MUST stop this nonsense of blaming his Juniors. Take personal responsibility, Resign and Go to Jail.

IEBC officials must be arraigned for election offences & committed to jail. Same Chebukati team cannot conduct the rerun & by-elections.
