This has prompted him to announce that Facebook will introduce a feature that will allow users flag off fake news and hoaxes to warn other who may not be aware.

“news and media are not the primary things people do on Facebook, so I find it odd when people insist we call ourselves a news or media company in order to acknowledge its importance.” Mark Zuckerberg

According to PEW Research,  62 percent of Americans got some news from social media, with 18 percent receiving most of it through social media channels

Facebook has been critisized of allowing fake news and hoaxes to trend. Likewise being biased on which news or information that should trend
