Forbes’ African list of richest billionaires does not feature any Kenyan near the mark of the top cream.
Similarly only two women made it into the list, Nigerian business woman Folorunsho Alakija and Angolan Isabel dos Santos

Top Mineral investor from SA, rose to the table after selling his father’s mining firm in Debeers back in 2012 at USD 5.1 Billion.
4. Nassef Onsi Sawiris – USD 6.3
Billion (Egypt)
The billionaire was once a CEO of Orascom Construction but today he serves as the chairman of Aston Villa F.C which plays in England second top division category, Championship.
5.Johann Rupert- USD 5.3 Billion (South Africa)
The shrewd entrepreneur is the head and boss at Swiss-based luxury-goods company Richemont as well as of the South Africa-based company Remgro.
6. Issad Rebrab- USD 3.7 Billion (Algeria)
The billionaire businessman, CEO of the Cevital industrial group, the largest private company in Algeria, active in steel, food, agribusiness and electronics.

He is the chairman of Mansour Group that is the second largest company in Egypt by revenue

Billion (Zimbabwe)
He owns diversified international Telecommunications, Media and Technology group Econet Wireless and Econet Media
12. Patrice Motsepe -USD 2.3
Billion (South Africa)
He is the owner of African Rainbow Minerals, which has deals in gold, ferrous metals, base metals, and platinum.
13. Aziz Akhannouch – USD 2.1
Billion (Morocco)
The Minister of Agriculture since 2007 also owns Akwa Group which deals with oil.
