Grab a pen and paper boys and girls because Kenyan rap veteran and former member of boy band Kleptomaniax, Nyashinski has made his comeback to Hiphop and is giving rappers a lesson on how to make a great Hiphop jam.
‘Now You Know’ is going to be his first single in over a decade and is clearly one of those songs we’ll all be adding to our playlists and playing for years to come.
The song is more than just a comeback song, the rapper clearly has a message not only for his competition but also for the Kenyan music fans.
He calls out fans for supporting ‘Naija Music’ over local content as well as rappers for their poor lyrical content. And let’s not forget he also mentions bloggers and their lists as well as their rumors about him and other pioneers in the industry.
Clearly even after all these years away from the industry Nyashinski hasn’t lost it in fact, this time you ca feel that he has something to prove following his long absence.
Expect this one to rock your radio and TV stations for weeks to come and of course we’ll also be expecting more from Nyashinski who is making his journey back into the Kenyan music industry one hit song after another.
