Four MPs Set Free Over ‘Sex’ Tape Scandal

Four MPs who were called to appear before The Director of Criminal Investigations will now sigh with ease after the case regarding ‘sex’ video tape was cancelled.

The four MPs had been accused of defaming Wajir Woman representative Fatuma Gedi with a faked sex tape video.

They included

  1. Eldas MP Adan Keynan- MP
  2. Abdikarim Osman Mohamed,- MP
  3. Rehema Jaldesa (Isiolo)-Woman Representative
  4. Wangui wa Ngirici (Kirinyaga)- Woman Representative

The two male MPs were to report at the DCI at 10am on Monday 25th while the latter were to report on the following day Tuesday 26th.

“The orders were uncalled for and no need for the four to show up as initially ordered,” DCI George Kinoti said on Tuesday

Douglas Mbaya, a blogger with TUKO news, was arraigned in court over the video
