Kenyans on Twitter exploded with memes when they noticed that Ghana’s Head of State President Nana Akufo-Addo tried to set standards in the most odd looking trend.

During a local function in Ghana, he was seen dressed in a yellow looking like a half-baby-napkins or pampers to sleeping dress .

All that turning him into an instant scarecrow on internet.

Here is how Kenyans reacted to the news

Its no longer colonizers attire. It became our attire, just like English language, religion, food, bed/beddings, shoes/socks, housing, roads, mode of transport, Schooling, toilets, bathrooms/soap, dinning, calendar/time, etc

This is Dagomba dressing…Dagomba is a kingdom and one of the major tribes in Northern Ghana. The President was there at the inauguration of a new King of Dagombas.
It’s beautiful….tradition and culture at its best.

And to be laughed at by Kenyans who do not even have even anything traditional on their own… Gosh. Not funny Everything from top to toe is handmade. The 'fugu' or smock is the traditional handmade attire of Northern Ghana… At least we still keep to our trsdition

Nope.. I know Kenya more than you probably will ever know about Ghana. Forget about the Masai what else can you talk about in Kenya. Food, attire, cultural display… come on!!

Well what Our President is wearing the traditional wear of the Beautiful Dagomba Tribe here in Ghana as He joins them to celebrate the enskinning of their Paramount King.
