Girl Defies Albinism To Become KCPE Top Candidate With 455 Marks

Goldalyn Kadiya from St. Anne Junior Kabao in Kakamega County went over 1.6 million KCPE candidates who sat for the 2017 KCPE exams.

The girl who suffers from Albinism defect, scored 455 marks out of the possible 500 marks which are tallied against 5 subjects.

She will received full government support and secure a spot in a national school despite coming from a private school.

The examinations were marked within a span of 19 days, courtesy of machines valued at more than 100 million shillings.
