In 2017 KCSE Exams, two girls topped the class that sat the KCPE exams in 2013 which saw two boys win the race.
Karimi Naomi Nyawira of Pangani Girls became the best student followed by Sharron Chepchumba of Moi Girls in 2017 KCSE exams.
The number of girls in top 10 still dominated the list.
In 2013 same class during KCPE, the same class was topped and dominated by boys. Being led by Brian Kimutai and Okoth Otieno.

In 2017 again, Pangani girls was the most improved school while Alliance Girls and Kenya High School(girls school) were ranked as the best schools overall.
A minuses dropped from 4645 to 2714 as compared to 2017 and 2016 respectively.
Grade As only increased by 1 from 141 to 142 from 2016 to 2017 respectively.
