A man divorced his newly wed 15 minutes after taking vows.
The Dubai man says that he divorced his wife after their parents had become impatient after bride of Sh2,696,104.
The father is said to have demended money after the sifning despiettt the man having paid about Ksh.200,000
The man promised to get the remaining amount which was in his car parked outside the event.
The father never listened to the story and insisted that he send someone close to him to pick the cash instead of him.
The groom got angered and handed in his divorce papers.
‘He told the bride’s father that he did not want his daughter as his wife and divorced her in less than 15 minutes from signing the marriage contract,’ his lawyer said.
This is not the first shortest marriage in the gulf.
In that case in 2012, the groom stepped across the corridor into the divorce court because the bride’s father demanded the she be allowed to keep her job.
