#JusticeForMaina is your quintessential story of a man/boy who dies in the hands of @PoliceKE before his dreams. This is a classic story of a dream that died for a family and a community that had a vision. But now the vision is blurred by tears and questions. @Nanjala1

#JusticeForMaina Some while back,i lived near two DCI cops who were renowned for killing suspects,I asked them one time while having a drink" DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN TAKE THE LIFE OF ANOTHER WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES TO YOURSELF?" Sadly both are no longer alive, liver cirrhosis

#JusticeForMaina transcends his departed soul. Here, Kinuthia Mwangi of @theelephantinfo narrates stories of YOUNG and POOR youths. This time in Mathare @amnestyusa >RUN KIJANA RUN: The crime of being a poor young man in Kenya | The Elephant https://t.co/uwIe4GYAKZ

This is Carliton Maina. He's young, he is poor and he is dead. It's normal right? It's normal because a trigger-happy "eager beaver" member from @PoliceKE killed him. They killed him because in Kibera you are poor so your lives does not matter. #JusticeForMaina pic.twitter.com/YBOemRPCbi
