A female hawker on her daily winning bread day was sandwiched to death by two matatus along Jogoo Road, Makadara area in Nairobi.
One of the matatus involved belonged to Embassava sacco.
Witnesses account that the woman was caught in between the two vehicles before she was squashed to death in the progress. At the moment she was selling her sweets to passengers along the vehicles plying on the route.
Her lifeless body took time to be removed by police.
This news opened up a debate on how hawkers in Nairobi have been putting the life in of their business.
