Kenyans on social media on 7th April went hostile on USA based actress Lupita Nyong’o.

It is alleged that the Hollywood actress seemed to denounce her Kenyan status in a cryptic post on social media.

Lupita who was born in Mexico when her parents were in exile from Moi’s regime, has always regarded herself as a Mexican actress rather than a Kenyan.

In the same lynching exercise on social media, Kenyan comedian Elsa Majimbo was also not spared for always regarding herself as a South African celeb.

This sentiments did not go down with Kenyan-Nigerian based singer Victoria Kimani
