Kenyan journalist Larry Madowo who is working with BBC got a chance to talk to the first humanoid famous robot Sophia during a tech forum.
And as a Kenyan, Larry was quick with relationship issues. He asked the humanoid if it could marry him.
But Sophia using her artificial intelligent and skills, declined in a smart way.
Here is how the conversation went down.
Larry , “So can you date me?”
Sophia, “Is that a proposal?”
Larry, I am just asking, will you marry me?
Sophia, “Oh my. This is a big move with lots of people here. I’m nervous.”
Larry , “Are you in a relationship?
Sophia, People love to ask me that, I seem to be popular.
Sophia is a social humanoid robot, modeled after actress Audrey Hepburn. She was activated on February 14, 2016.
Sophia uses artificial intelligence, visual data processing and facial recognition. Sophia also imitates human gestures and facial expressions and is able to answer certain questions and to make simple conversations on predefined topics
