Ida Odinga Explains Why She Missed Her Husbands ‘Swearing In’ Ceremony

Wife to Raila Odinga has responded to claims that she was in a hideout during her husband’s swearing in ceremony.

She noted that her daughter who has been unwell for long was under medical attention and she needed to be close to her.

“I was not physically present at Uhuru Park but I was with them in spirit,” Ida told The Standard.

Other dignitaries who missed included the wives of the top NASA heads such as Pauline Musyoka and Tessie Mudavadi.

The other NASA principals, Kalonzo, Mudavadi and FORD Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula also skipped Raila’s ‘swearing-in’
