Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Requirements and Responsibilities;
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will report and assist the Restaurant Manager in the overall operations of the restaurant. Recruits and trains restaurant employees. Assists in inventory control and budgeting. Ensures that regulatory guidelines of the food services industry are being followed by all employees. Set an example in terms of service and products knowledge. Monitor operating supplies, equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage successfully. Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner and report to the Restaurant Manager ensuring that the follow up is performed with the guest. Produce reports and analysis of the restaurant and present report in the monthly performance meeting. Lead the restaurant efficiently in the cost and expense, constantly delivering the highest quality as well as driving high top line revenue and profit. Ensure that the opening and closing procedures established for the restaurant are followed. He/She is also sales Ambassador of the establishment. Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business.
Required diploma in hospitality management or its equivalent and 2-4 years of related experience. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
