The Top 40 Women Under 40 is the closest it gets for a professional woman to be celebrated.
It is almost akin to being listed in Forbes for your achievements or wealth. While there are a couple of lists, the women’s lists garners most attention. The 2016 list is out and this time round it is amazing to see several showbiz personalities featured and young ladies too. If you thought beautiful women only get to be in music videos and hosting events, you will be surprised by the amazing faces that fill the whole list.
Former TV girl and cancer survivor Janet Ikua Kanini is among the top women coming in at number 11. She is also the leading celebrity in the list. Having conquered cancer and created such an awareness about the disease and a foundation to boot, she is really a winner and a great inspiration. She currently works with Doctors beyond borders and is the CEO Kanini for Africa Foundation.

Grace Msalame is the other celebrity making up the list and comes in at 38. The 30 year old has been around media much of her adult life starting at Str8-Up while only 19 and branching to radio at Capital FM before moving to manage her late father’s Tony Msalame Radio in Nyali. She is currently the Head of Content and Acquisitions at Bamba TV. Her grace and beauty have seen her dip in the fashion industry too Vivo Active wear.

Moipei sisters make up the third well known celebrities in the list. They are also among the youngest in the list and come in at 40. The triplets Mary, Magdalene and Marta are 23 and their younger sister Seraphine is 21. They already have a Head of State Commendation and numerous awards internationally. Currently they are studying in the US.
