Former Citizen TV Johnson Mwakazi has been appointed to head TV 47 which is owned by Cape Media.
Cape Media was established by Mount Kenya University (MKU) owner Prof Simon Gicheru. The TV station will focus on County and Cooperate news across the country.
Cape Media also owns a Radio Station in Rwanda which is housed by MKU in Rwanda.
