Standard Media Academy is multi-media talent incubator targeted at recruiting up-coming talent in Journalism.

The training takes candidates through a 9 months journalism training course that will equip them with pre-requisite journalistic skills. If you are an excellent story teller or creative and love to share your experience through words, pictures and videos, have a passion and drive for media and always curious about people and events, then you are the one we are looking for
Entry Requirements:

  • University degree in any field. Masters degree and media related qualification will be an added advantage
  • Computer literacy

Responsibilities

Skills and Attributes:

  • A nose for news
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Kiswahili
  • Should be below 26 years old
  • Keen to details
  • Active on Social Media
  • Working knowledge in video and photo editing

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor’s degree
Required relevant work experience: one month
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
