Kenyan rapper Juliani has opened up about his personal journey, revealing that he now sees his past mistakes as valuable lessons rather than failures. His candid reflections come amid speculation surrounding his alleged separation from his wife, Lilian Nganga.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the Utawala hitmaker shared that he has embraced a new perspective on life, allowing him to grow and learn from his experiences.
“For about four years now, I don’t see mistakes as mistakes. I see them as learning paths. Even my worst days are my days, and I own them. I acknowledge them, and I don’t try to tag them as something negative or be hard on myself,” he wrote.
Juliani, who turned 40 this year, also addressed concerns about his weight, confidently dismissing criticisms from fans who claimed he looked too thin.
“They say I need to gain weight as a 40-year-old father of two. My weight is 54 kg. Correction, I’m not too thin; I am petite. I have never felt so light mentally, emotionally, and physically as I do now,” he said.
The rapper emphasized that his self-awareness has allowed him to navigate life’s challenges with gratitude and acceptance. He stated that he no longer dwells on negative emotions and instead chooses to focus on the positives.
“I am sure of myself, own my mistakes, super creative, self-driven, and in tune with my inner self,” he added.
Despite facing significant personal and professional challenges, Juliani remains optimistic. He acknowledged that he has pressing issues to resolve, including financial and family matters, but chooses to focus on what is working in his life.
“I have 10 things that really need to be solved now! (Salaries, debts, programs, my kids and family, and investment, etc.) At the same time, I have more than a million things that are working out for me now. I have just learned the difference between gratitude and thanksgiving. I am not in control; I surrender to the author of my life,” he reflected.
His message resonated with fans, with many commending him for his resilience and wisdom.
This comes amid ongoing speculation that Juliani and Lilian Nganga may have parted ways. The couple, who tied the knot in 2022, have not been spotted together in recent months, fueling breakup rumors. They share a son together.
Juliani’s personal growth journey serves as an inspiration to many, highlighting the power of embracing life’s lessons and focusing on the positives despite challenges.
