Vihiga County got its first fully-fledged university in July 2022.
President Uhuru Kenyatta awarded the university a charter on Thursday, July 28, at State House Nairobi.
These were some of the last minute projects for President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of his exit in August .
Kaimosi University College was established in 2014 as a constituent of the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
