Reporting to the Lead – Cabin & IFE, the ideal candidates will ensure world class standards of the cabin and IFE systems for guest satisfaction and revenue growth and prepare maintenance work area, aircraft, and equipment to facilitate timely accomplishment of hangar, line, and workshop maintenance tasks.

Key duties and Responsibilities
- Cabin serviceability- Close planned maintenance tasks and send serviceability status daily.
- Cabin ADDs – All ADDs raised to have correct part numbers, shortage and linked in OASES.
- Cost –ordering required parts as per daily demand.
- Attendance and safety – adhering to hub control roster, identify near misses and OTI’s.
- Logistics-check that required tools and equipment are available and in good order.
- Verify that all manuals / data being used are current, position maintenance equipment to and from aircraft work areas to facilitate maintenance.
- Prepare aircrafts for cleaning, degrease, remove paint aircraft and components for further maintenance activities.
- Prepare aircraft cabin for further maintenance activities.
- Ensure cabin aesthetic and cleanliness are maintained as per the cabin standards guide.
- Restore cabin for return to service after maintenance.
- Prepare the work areas before and after maintenance activities.
- Prepare or participate in aircraft wash.
- Report hazards, near misses, incidents / incident occurrences as per company procedures
- Ensure and maintain a health, safe and secure working environment in compliance with the authority requirements, relevant industry regulatory and legislative requirements, company procedures and customer airlines.
- Perform fumigation and pest control tasks as per the residual disinfection schedule.
- Ability to trace, cut and stitch aircraft cabin carpets and galley floor mats.
- Ability to remove/install cabin soft linens including seat covers and curtains.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Diploma in relevant field.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of KCAA and KQ procedures.
- Cabin interior approvals.
- Must be current in all mandatory courses required for the role.
- Knowledge of aviation solvents and compounds.
- Basic aircraft knowledge.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-tasking.
