The year 2022 has been a unique one when it came to Kenyan celebs hitting on each other.
These no nonsense celebs have been trading guns aimed to each while in public, exposing their dirty linen for the public to see.
Here is a list of these celebs who could not stand for peace and advocacy .
1. Huddah and Yummy Mummy
Towards the end of June in 2022, one of Kenya’s top socialite Huddah Monroe and content creator and podcaster Murugi Munyi got engaged in a fiery feud that went viral and far.
It all started when Huddah sent her beauty products to be reviewed by Murugi Munyi aka Yummy Mummy. The products were to be critiqued on PR basis.
However, Huddah did not get the expected review, which she deemed it negative and meant to bring her business down.
“One thing that feels like a red flag is, I don’t know if it is a red flag or it is just the nature of the manufacturing is that all the products are written the same thing,” Murugi said.
Huddah will letter go wild and dirty with her insults directed at Yummy Mummy.
“Thanks Murugi for posting about the PR package we sent you but how’s what’s written about the product a red flag? Try products and give honest feedback because they work 100%.
“All my products do what they say they do and we give 100! Money back guaranteed if they don’t. These influencers think they make us wealthy. If they did, why not open up a business? We only use your image, you don’t give us sales,” wrote Huddah.
Murugi responded by stating that she was disappointed how Huddah was shaming fat women.
“I know there is a lot happening online right now but I am here to tell you something, whether you are plus size, whether you are small, whether you are in between, your worth is not determined by your body,” Murugi said.
“To whoever is out there shaming fat women, I want you to know that you are beautiful, I want you to know that you are loved and whatever it is that is in you that is making you feel that you need to insult someone who doesn’t look like you… I hope that that resolves because that is an ugly and horrible way to go through life,” Murugi added.
2. Mulamwa And Kamene
The beef between comedian David Oyando alias Mulamwah and Kiss 100 presenter Kamene Goro has gone a notch higher than you probably thought.
It started off when Kamene Goro said in an interview that Mulamwa was a bully who allegedly shamed her body size.
“He thinks now that he’s a comedian, he can bully anyone. I posted a picture and he commented something extremely hateful. When we met, I told him I don’t know you, the first time we met you abused me and I don’t like you. We will never be friends.” Kamene claimed.
Mulamwah did not stop, he went online and counter-attacked Kamene
“Kamene kama ananitaka, aniambie tu (If Kamene wants me, she should just tell me),” he wrote.

3. Nick Odhiambo And Inspekta Mwala
Hot96 Breakfast presenter Nick Odhiambo and actor Inspekta Mwala nearly got to fist-fight over a parking lot space.
In undisclosed place at Kilimani, Nairobi, the two celebs working for Royal Media Services were fighting over a parking space with war of words.
Nick can be heard asking ‘“Hii gari ni ya nani?”, ‘ Mwala comes forward stating that he had just stepped out for a while.
The two proceeds to throw words at each other, before Mwala speeds off.

4. DJ MO and Ringtone
On 13th February in 2022, Kenyan DJ MO aka Samwel Muraya and singer Ringtone aka Alex Apoko clashed at Panari Hotel in Nairobi during Size 8 album launch.
The drama was so serious that the two artists almost got to a point of exchanging blows safe for them being pulled apart.
It all started when pastors were summoned to the pulpit so as to dedicate the album to God. Ringtone found his way to the pulpit. He was asked to step down but when he refused, he was forced out.
He proceeded to hold a press conference outside, only to be met by DJ MO who frog-matched him to outside.
“I went to the stage and Size 8 chased me away. I want to tell Size 8 that I have an anointing that has sustained me this long. We also have an anointing to dedicate her album.
“It is not vaseline or kerosine, what I have had for all those years is the anointing of God,” he told the media.

5. Bahati and Edwin Sifuna
In June 2022, Bahati and ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna were caught in fiery feuds over election in Mathari area.
The beef was caused by Bahati’s hard stance not to step down for Azimio’s candidate Antony Olouch.
Edwin Sifuna chided Bahati by saying that he will pick the apology from Bahati’s wife Diana Marua.
Bahati in reply, he urged youths not to elect Sifuna and that Sifuna was costing Raila’s votes in the country.
6. Erick Omondi And Ringtone
Comedian Erick Omondi and gospel artist Ringtone Apoko have been trading insults in 2022 over their social status.
Erick claimed that Ringtone is poor and lies to Kenyans that he drives a Range Rover car and owns a palatial house in Karen.
In his rejoinder, Ringtone accused Erick Omondi of using vulnerable young girls in his erotic show ‘Be My Wife’.
7. Nameless and Linda Ogutu
TV anchor and Nameless found themselves in an ugly online spat as Kenyans on social media watched their blue ticked handles engage in dirty words.
It all started when Nameless posted a photo of himself dressed in a unique outfit that attracted a flood of comments.
And this is when Linda jumped in, even though on a side that Nameless did not like.
Linda Ogutu thought that Nameless was not dressed properly according, however, Nameless came forth to bash him.
