Kenya Sevens captain Andrew Amonde has finally quit the bachelor’s club. Amonde walked down the aisle with his fiancé Damaquelyn Omwenga in a colourful wedding ceremony which saw only close friends and family witness the lovely couple say ‘I Do’.
Being one of the most respected athletes and a role model to many, Amonde has always kept his life under wraps and that’s why little is known about him. The celebrated player and his new wife are blessed with a loving daughter and have been living together for quite sometime now before they decided to make it official.
The Guinness brand ambassador who’s also a player for KCB is leading by a good example and we hope to see other sportsmen tie the knot soon. Amonde has won the hearts of many both locally and internationally after he recently dedicated the Kenya Seven’s victory at Singapore Sevens to former players who started the journey three decades ago.
