A church led by Bishop Climate Irungu was fines by a UK court, The Southwack Borough Council, was fined one million for disturbing their neighbors with noisy and anti-satanic keshas. The Bishop was accused of holding loud and vigil night summons that were believed to cast away demons from his believes, the jury was told. The ruling was made under Environment Act.
Residents from the neighboring houses had launched several claims in court alluding to high tone ululations, drum beats, screams, sermons and loud music coming from the Kingdom Church located in the industry populated Camberwell.
Bishop Irungu claimed that the noise couldn’t be heard since the area itself is enclosed in a noisy industrial area.
The bishop also said that they had spent about 1.5Million trying to reduce the noise and that they were going to appeal against the ruling.
“The night loud sermons were meant to deal with demons and witchcraft that are terrorizing faithful and innocent believers,” Bishop Irungu said.
Bishop Irungu, born in Mtito Andei, also argued the residents to ensure they leave there doors and windows to avoid disturbances as he complained of the heavy fine imposed on their church.
This comes barely some months ago when a British woman came to the public accusing a Kenyan man who is out to exploit the account banks unsuspecting windows.
The man was said to be soliciting and marrying widows and single old women before robbing them in a cunning way of their pensions.
