The Canadian government has pledged to invest USD 15 million in youth from the developing countries.
This training will be geared towards helping the youths so that they can find good jobs.
“The government is partnering with Canadian company Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) on the project, which they say will train youth in information and communications technology,”Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the contribution while in Malta, for the Commonwealth summit.
The project is expected to benefit about 200,000 youths in Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania and Zambia.
