These students who were caught on camera insulting Interior CS Fred Matiangí and his Education counterpart Amina Mohammed, have already been identified.

Police led by Nyanza Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) boss Michael Baraza have found that the eight students were from Ambira Boys High School in Siaya county and action will be taken against them.

Police boss confirmed that indeed they visited the school with intention of identifying the students.

It is true officers visited the school and also went through the clip with a view of identifying the students making the insults. If they will be found culpable of course action will be taken- said the police boss.

School Principal Thomas Odhiambo wrote a statement at Ugunja Police Station indicating that so far eight student had been identified from the video with their names, index number and stream.

Some Kenyans felt for students

So the inspector general @JBoinnet has time and resources investigating misbehaving minors but not the looting of our taxes. What those boys did is a misdemeanor, a petty offence. In Kenya our leaders can disrespect us but we can't return the favour or we risk going to jail. https://t.co/Ni5BYuMnM5

Mr. Despot @UKenyatta yells at high school pupils about "discipline and patriotism" yet he spent his entire student life drinking worse than fish and smoking pot more than a chimney. He has been a national disaster. He has murdered and presided over unfathomable plunder.
