Jacky Maribe was freed on bail as her boyfriend was denied bail on Tuesday 30th October 2018.

Under the ruling of Justice James Wakiaga, the High Court denied Joseph Irungu bail because he was flight risk and he had access to weapons which could be used to intimidate witnesses over the murder case of Monica Kimani.

“A picture that emerges from the prosecution’s evidence as set out herein above and the pre-bail report of the accused is that he is a male version of a slay queen, which for lack of better terminology I’d call a woman eater,” ruled Justice Wakiaga.

The judge while granting Maribe freedom noted that the prosecution failed to hand in compelling reason for Maribe’s remand. However

Tough conditions Maribe will have to deal with during bail freedom

  1. Maribe will part with Sh1 million cash bail or a Sh2 million bond with a surety of the same amount for her bailed freedom
  2. The mother of one will not be allowed to contact any witness, either directly or indirectly
  3. She will also not be allowed to read news or interview any news source related to the case, this rule will be subjected to review occasionally
  4. She will also take along investigators to her house in Langáta who will collect any other left relevant details before they can let her in
  5. Maribe will also not be allowed to be involved in any business or any contact that might interfere with the case

Since Joseph Irungu has been denied Bail, and Jacque Maribe granted bail, I have a feeling someone somewhere is going to enjoy the fruits of his labour. Make up sex on the Menu. 🙄
