Kenyan youngster Philip Mwene has joined Bundesliga side Mainz05.

Mwene was born to a Kenyan father and Austrian mother.

He is aged 24 years old and plays as a right back. He is still eligible to play for Kenya national team Harambee Stars.

Last year, Divock Origi born to Kenyan parents moved from Liverpool to Wolfsburg on a season loan. Origi’s good form at the end of the season helped the German club regain its position in Bundesliga

Origi is not eligible to play for Harambee stars since he already played for his new country Belgium’s senior team.

It will be a sad moment for him after he was left out of the Belgium squad to Russia 2018 world cup.

Origi would be greatly remembered for his 2010 strike during Brazil world cup
