Kikuyus Stereotype Goes On Despite Handshake

Kikuyus are very hardworking and honest persons, but a few of them will suck life out of your day!

Being a dishonest person, is more of a personal moral virtue than belonging to tribe. Just the way we choose whom to trust and believe in.

Don’t you know every market in Africa must have a mad man?

During 2017 elections, Kikuyu stereotype was highly recorded in most of Kenyan towns away from Central region, reason ‘Kenyans’ think every Kikuyu is a thief.

It will cost you nothing to admit that a thief does not have a clan or a faith.

Take for example…

A woman in one of Nairobi slums was caught with child trafficking, some keyboard warriors with their dirty minds were thrown into a storm and began posting hatred.

But later on, police revealed that her name did not sound Shiko or Njeri types.

Then, the warriors went on to ‘sanitize’ and claim that the woman was working for a Kikuyu in disguise of blackmail.

The rest was a court process.

During the NYS scandal, these stereotype merchants did not forgive with their investigative techniques.

They realized that PS Lilian Mbogo Omollo was from the Central region, then  took that advantage and went on to use her in their hate messages, claiming she was dusting her husbands name which is owned by certain ‘saints’.

One of the main champions of animosity are the political leaders, who spread hate in sugar-coated slogans.

To end this menace, the top politicians must fight hatred from the grassroot, shaking hands on TV is only good for peace.

But hatred with peace is like a time bomb waiting to explode on your face.
