Kisumu city gave a rare chance for plus size models to show off their lines of curves in a fashion event held at Imperial hotel.

The event took place on 9th June of 2018 hosted by an electric MC Adhiambo Opondo. It went all the way from 6pm to 1am early morning.

Plus size models have began earning an event as the face of modelling gets redefined and instill more confidence in women who are not slim or slander.

It will however take time for plus size models to begin grabbing awards in the same contest with ‘normal’ models.

Across the country, modelling is an industry which has been on its knees crippled by underpayment of participants and or even at worse extorting money or sex from the patriots.

It is an industry that needs government intervention to create more employment for youths.

Just few months ago, a firm was offering food and transport for a photoshoot set up with Sauti Sol.
